What this Workflow Does

This workflow continuously reviews all patient records against USPSTF and specialty society guidelines for preventive screenings, including colorectal, cervical, breast, and lung cancer, diabetic retinopathy, abdominal aortic aneurysm, osteoporosis, and cardiovascular risk assessments. It synthesizes structured and unstructured data (labs, imaging, EHR notes, demographics, family history, and social risk factors) to detect overdue or upcoming screening needs.

Once identified, Carebricks automatically generates and sends outreach to patients, schedules the appropriate screening exam or test, routes notifications to ordering and primary providers, and records completion for quality reporting and registries. Where desired, health systems can insert a manual approval step before patient or provider notifications. By automating guideline-driven eligibility checks, outreach, scheduling, and documentation, this workflow ensures comprehensive closure of preventive screening gaps, boosts compliance with clinical best practices, and improves population health outcomes.
