What this Workflow Does

This workflow analyzes imaging study reports for nodule size and characteristics, reviews prior imaging dates and smoking history within encounters, and selects the guideline-appropriate follow-up interval. It generates scheduling tasks for surveillance imaging and alerts the ordering and primary providers (sites may choose manual approval before patient messaging). This reduces missed or delayed nodule surveillance and improves adherence to evidence-based pathways.
